Dear Netherlands Youth, We are now home following our wonderful trip to the Netherlands. Our youth thoroughly enjoyed the entire weekend and especially the very important divine service. I must also say a very special ‘Thank you’ to our host families. Everyone’s kindness left a deep impression and I think relationships have begun that will never end. The event organisers are also to be thanked. In addition to waiting at the airport for many hours, they also gave me an advance tour of Amsterdam and I felt that we had already known one another for years. Much email communication had to take place well ahead of the weekend but the organisation was superb! We work together and look forward to a wonderful European Youth Day in 2009 and I think I shall pass through Holland a few times between now and then and I look forward to seeing you once more.
